Monica grew up in Erie, PA among a family of furniture store owners, interior designers and decorators. After she received her Masters Degree in Art and Architectural History from American University, Monica went to work as an Architectural Historian for the National Park Service.

After staying home with her children for many years, Monica transitioned her love of furniture and art into Preferred Staging, LLC.  Preferred Staging has grown 25% every year since its inception in 2007.  In 2011, Preferred Staging expanded to include furniture for rent. In 2014, and again in 2015, Monica was named one of the Top 10 Stagers in the United States by the Real Estate Staging Association.

Preferred Staging is known within the staging industry for having the highest quality of work. Monica and her team pride themselves on their keen attention to detail and for their professionalism for all of their clients.
