Annie Doherty is a Director, Master Consultant, Mentor & Trainer for the House Doctor® Team. She loves her creative life and nothing gives her greater satisfaction than helping others.
Having studied Interior Design in the mid 80’s and started her Interior Design company shortly after Annie then moved to the USA where she undertook further training and won various awards for Property Staging as well as Interior Design.
Annie loves using her knowledge, gained by working on two Continents, to find creative solutions to your property problems. By using home staging as a means to help others, by presenting their property in the best possible light to sell quickly and enable them to move on with their lives, makes all the work worthwhile.
Now mainly back in the UK, Annie works with her daughter, Kathryn Saggers, of Stagehouse Ltd where they offer a wide range of services such as home staging, interior design, colour consultations, show homes, and furnishing services, but their speciality is specifying interiors for renovation or new build projects.
Often this is an area that is very complex for the homeowner to get right, and Stagehouse offers a complete service working with the architects, builders and clients to make sure the project is seamless and the end result achieves everything the client could want without any costly or regrettable mistakes!
Most of her days are now spent updating and writing new Workshops, Masterclasses and courses for House Doctor Training which will be available online soon. Annis can also be often found on stages giving talks and presentations at UK Home and Property shows such as Grand Designs and the Ideal Home Show.
Annie is a member of The DSA, where she is certified in Real Estate Staging, Re-Design and Colour as well as being an International RESA-PRO for the Real Estate and Staging Association. She has trained with many colour experts and has been published in magazines such as Country and Town, House Beautiful, Essex Life and quoted in various newspaper articles and has spoken on Radio 4 about various property problems.
Being a co-author of two books one, a coffee table book, on International staging and the other a chapter in a Wome Rising book aimed at women entrepreneurs and the struggle they often have.
But, most importantly she states, “I am part of a great team here in the UK, where you can get advice, help and encouragement and I look forward to helping you with any property problems or design dilemmas. “
