As a child Shari grew up in a military family and moved around quite often. She learned how to purge quickly in preparation for a move and spent much of her youth visiting homes with her family as potential buyers. Eventually, Shari and her mother began visiting model homes for "fun", even when they weren't in the market for a new home. Through these experiences Shari began to pay attention to how different homes made her feel and visualizing her life in the homes. She also noted how she often felt like an "intruder" in occupied resale homes that had not been prepared well for the market.

Shari began her career as a Real Estate Agent in Arizona. Shari found the most rewarding part of being an agent was helping her clients prepare their home for the market. Later in life Shari left real estate to focus on raising her family, and in 2001, she relocated to Washington County, MD. As her youngest child headed off to school, Shari decided to pursue her true passion, and "Staged Above" was born.

Staged Above services the four-stage region of Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia. Shari offers Vacant Staging services, Owner Occupied Consultations/Staging, and Re-Design. Shari is a accredited home stager, and a member of both RESA and HSRA. Shari won HSRA's 2017 Top Industry Innovator of the Year award and Staged Above was honored as one of HSRA's Top 10 Home Staging Companies for 2017. In 2018 Shari will be speaking at RESACON2018 in Las Vegas! 

Staged Above continues to grow at a rapid pace, what once started in Shari's garage has now grown into a leading operation in the four-state region. Shari leads her team of 3 Stagers and a Director of Operations by providing continuing education and growth to ensure Staged Above stays at the top of our industry.
