My name is Amy Parker and I have lived in New Hampshire all of my life. My husband and I chose to settle down with our two children in Alton and have grown very fond of our small town. I am excited to have started a business offering a wide variety of home interior services to clients in the Lakes Region and throughout Central New Hampshire.
I graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburg in December 2006 with the Dean’s Award after completing the Residential Planning Diploma Program. This comprehensive program focused on the fundamentals of design which included: Space Planning, Drafting (traditional and computer-aided), Color Theory, Textiles, Residential Design as well as Kitchen & Bath Design. Upon graduation, I completed I.R.I.S. Certified Redesign & Home Staging Training with Kimberly Merritt of The Academy of Design & Decorating in Peterborough, NH.
I love to work with homeowners to create the inviting and comfortable spaces that they dream of. I use architectural software to help my clients visualize spaces and furnishings before they begin making large purchases. I also enjoy working with local Realtors by assisting their clients in getting ready to sell their homes. I have a small scale inventory of furniture, artwork, lamps, area rugs, linens and decor.
In my spare time, I volunteer with Granite United Way by chairing the local committee that supports the annual Day of Caring event that happens every September. I help to coordinate the project locations, volunteers and am responsible for running the kick-off breakfast in our area. It's a labor of love for me and I've returned to some of the non-profits to offer additional volunteer assistance with their interior spaces throughout the year.
