Click to verify your region.  The 6 Regional Professional Stagers of the Year™ will be the finalists for the RESA® 2012 Professional Stager of the Year™.

Entry Fee: $25.00

Nomination Guidelines:

  • Last year's winners are not eligible to be nominated in the same category.
  • Last year's nominees and finalists are eligible.
  • This is a self-nominating category for current RESA® members.  Members must maintain their membership through the 2012 year.  Given this is a self-nominating category; nominees will not be allowed to market their nomination status as this portion of the process is anonymous. Finalists will be allowed to market their status; however they are not allowed to solicit votes from the judges.
  • Members with ethics complaints or disciplinary actions in the last two years are not eligible.
  • Submissions need to represent the work of the individual stager submitting their nomination. In other words, employees, independent contractors may have assisted in the process; however, the individual stager needs to have taken lead on the staging.
  • RESA® 2012 Professional Stager of the Year™ award is an individual award. In other words, company submissions are not allowed. See Company of the Year Award.

Nomination Disqualifications:

  • During the one-page PDF voting process, nominees are anonymous. If nominees are caught soliciting votes from the RESA® membership, they will be automatically disqualified.
  • Finalists will be allowed to market their status; however they are not allowed to solicit votes from the judges. If a finalist is caught soliciting votes from the judges, they will be automatically disqualified.
  • Any finalist caught breaking any of the rules may be disqualified.

Nominees will submit:

  • A one-page PDF containing your best staging examples. This may be before and after sets or final result examples. This PDF may be “staged”, but needs to be un-branded. No information as to your identity or geographic location will be allowed. Photo editing techniques may be used to enhance the photo. Ex: Frames and drop shadows are ok. Submissions that look like magazine layouts are acceptable. Virtually staged photos are not allowed.  Words or text are not allowed on the one-page submission.
  • You will also submit up to a two-page PDF that covers why you should be awarded the honor of Professional Stager of the Year™. This two-page PDF submission should be professional and fully branded.  Your submission should include your accomplishments during the eligibility period which is December, 2010 to October 2011.
